Meet the Experts Helping You Heal With or Without Medication

Proudly serving clients in Georgia, Washington, Oregon, Montana, Nevada, Alaska, and Hawaii with a special focus on Atlanta, Vinings, Johns Creek, Cumming, Roswell, and Alpharetta.

Meet Jessica Kettell, PMHNP-BC

Founder & CEO

Functional & Integrative Psychiatry Expert

Hi, I’m Jessica, a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and founder of Grounded Psychiatry, a virtual functional and integrative mental health practice serving clients in Atlanta, Vinings, Johns Creek, Cumming, Roswell, Alpharetta, and across Georgia, Washington, Oregon, Montana, Nevada, Alaska, and Hawaii.

I help high-functioning adults struggling with anxiety, depression, insomnia, burnout, or medication side effects find clarity, calm, and lasting relief with or without medication. My passion for this work is deeply personal.

For years, peace and happiness felt just out of reach. Chronic stress and unresolved trauma kept my nervous system stuck in survival mode. During the pandemic, while working in the ICU, I hit rock bottom. I was exhausted, burned out, and overwhelmed. The earliest psychiatrist appointment was three months away, so I began my own search for answers.

I dove into neuroscience, functional medicine, and integrative psychiatry, and by the time my appointment arrived, my panic attacks were gone without daily medication. That turning point became my mission.

I later trained with Dr. James Greenblatt, one of the nation’s leading functional medicine psychiatrists, and expanded my knowledge by learning from the research and teachings of experts such as Dr. Daniel Amen and Dr. Andrew Huberman. Over the years, I developed The Grounded Approach™, a root-cause framework combining advanced lab testing, genetic insights, nervous system repair, and personalized psychiatry to help clients feel better for good.

Today, I work with people who feel stuck, numb, dismissed, or unsure where to turn, especially those wanting to safely reduce or stop medications. My goal is simple: help you feel like yourself again, clear, calm, and grounded.

I have been where you are, and I know how life-changing the right support can be.

When I’m not helping clients

I’m a neurodivergent soul who’s just as passionate about uncovering root causes in mental health as I am about chasing adventures. Outside of my practice, I love traveling the world, practicing Japanese, and letting house and techno music move me into pure joy. The gym is my therapy, nature is my recharge, and sleep is my sacred boundary. It’s how I protect my energy so I can show up fully for myself and the women I serve. For me, healing has never been just about science. It’s about living with curiosity, rhythm, movement, and deep rest.

Meet the Full Grounded Psychiatry Team

Tayler Jordan

Nurse Practitioner

Tayler is the dedicated practitioner supporting our Georgia clients, serving individuals in Atlanta, Johns Creek, Vinings, Cumming, Roswell, Alpharetta, and throughout the state. At this time, she is available for cash-pay visits, with insurance options opening in the coming months.

When she’s not working with clients, Tayler’s world revolves around joy, connection, and adventure. She loves spending time with her husband and family, whether they’re trying out new restaurants, cooking together, or laughing through outdoor activities. A true foodie and music enthusiast, she’s happiest discovering live jazz, dancing at festivals, or simply enjoying good music in good company. Sunshine is her love language, and she soaks it up whenever she can, whether that means hiking a new trail, tubing down the river, or savoring the best days of summer and fall. If there’s music, sunshine, or good food, you can bet Tayler will be there with a smile.

That same warmth and energy carry into her work. Tayler is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and proud graduate of Georgia Southern University. She’s known for her genuine warmth and down-to-earth approach, and she loves helping clients move beyond quick fixes to uncover the root causes of anxiety, depression, burnout, grief, and medication challenges. Her clients appreciate her compassion, her listening ear, and her ability to make the healing process feel both safe and empowering.

Rachel Robilio, PMHNP-BC

Nurse Practitioner

Rachel is the dedicated practitioner supporting our Oregon clients, serving individuals across the state with whole-person, integrative care. At this time, she is available for cash-pay visits, with insurance options opening by January 2026.

When she’s not working with clients, Rachel finds joy in the people and experiences that make life rich and meaningful. She loves spending time with her life partner, family, friends, and two dogs, whether they’re traveling to new places, enjoying a cozy morning with coffee, or baking her Memaw’s famous brownies topped with her secret-ingredient homemade buttercream icing. Adventure is always close to her heart. She has run a half marathon, trekked 40 miles through Yosemite with a backpack on her shoulders, and never turns down a good road trip. Known for her open-hearted energy and easy laugh, Rachel believes in embracing life fully and creating connections that help us feel lighter, more human, and more alive.

Her love for people and for life translates directly into her work. Rachel is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and proud graduate of the University of South Alabama. She’s known for her calm, grounded presence and her thoughtful root-cause approach to care, helping clients move beyond symptoms to address anxiety, depression, burnout, grief, trauma, and safe medication tapering. Her clients appreciate her steady support, deep compassion, and the way she makes healing feel both possible and personal.

CLIENT LOVE

“I came to Jessica after being frustrated with so many doctors pushing medication on me. I didn’t feel heard or understood and I wasn’t getting the results I wanted. That all changed when I was introduced to Jessica, one of the most compassionate practitioners I’ve ever met whose unique approach has supported my mental health in a way I didn’t know was possible. She has empowered me and guided me towards a healthier future for myself. Choosing to work with her was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.”

HAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT

Why Conventional Approaches Might Not Be Enough

If you've tried medication or therapy and still don’t feel like yourself, you're not alone.

Conventional Psychiatry

✔️ May improve symptoms with medication, especially short-term relief

Can take months or years to find the right medication and dosage

Often focuses on symptom relief, not root causes—so issues may resurface

Rarely includes nutrition, lifestyle, or lab testing that could reveal hidden imbalances

Doesn’t address past trauma or nervous system dysregulation

Appointments are often short, leaving you feeling like just another number

Talk Therapy

✔️ Offers emotional support and can help you feel less alone in your struggles

✔️ Can help you explore relational patterns, trauma, and thought-based stressors

May not explore physical root causes like inflammation, hormones, or nutrient deficiencies

Some clients find it hard to “talk their way out” of chronic mood or energy issues

May not address nervous system dysregulation or somatic trauma

Can feel never-ending, you talk, but nothing changes

The Grounded Approach™

✔️ Addresses the root causes of mental health symptoms using functional testing and personalized care

✔️ Combines the best of science + compassion: genetic testing, lifestyle optimization, and nervous system support

✔️ Explores trauma, hormones, sleep, inflammation, and nutrient imbalances

✔️ Includes personalized supplement plans and safe support for deprescribing when appropriate

✔️ Honors your story while helping you feel empowered, not pathologized

✔️ Designed for real transformation, not just symptom management

Get to Know Our Treatment Process

From one-time consults to our signature 6-month program, The Precision Reset™, we offer high-touch, root-cause care with personalized follow-ups, all delivered through secure, private virtual sessions designed to help you feel like yourself again.

  • This is a brief but intentional call designed to get to know you and explore whether our holistic approach aligns with your needs and goals. We’ll take a few moments to understand what you’re looking for, answer any questions, and ensure we’re the right fit before moving forward with care.

Please note: we are a private pay, out-of-network practice and do not accept insurance. However, we partner with Thrizer to help eligible clients access out-of-network reimbursement benefits with ease.

  • Unlike quick visits with conventional doctors, this is a deep dive into your symptoms, history, and lifestyle, so we can truly understand what’s going on beneath the surface.

Once we have a full picture of your mental and physical health, we may recommend targeted lab testing to help identify what imbalances could be contributing to how you feel.

You’ll walk away with a personalized wellness plan designed to support your mind, body, and long-term healing.

    Investment: $400-800

  • Finally, answers that make sense and a plan that actually supports healing.

If you’ve felt dismissed, overmedicated, or stuck in a cycle of trial and error, this is where things begin to shift.

We use advanced functional labs and genetic testing to uncover what’s happening beneath the surface, nutrient depletions, inflammation, detoxification blocks, neurotransmitter imbalances, and more. These hidden patterns often explain why symptoms persist, even when labs look “normal.”

Instead of guessing, we build a precise, personalized wellness plan rooted in your biology. This may include:

Medical-grade supplements tailored to your needs

Nutrition and lifestyle shifts that support real change

Nervous system regulation tools like breathwork, movement, light therapy, and more

This is not a one-size-fits-all protocol. It’s a guided path to clarity, calm, and lasting relief, starting with your body’s own data.

All supplements are recommended through Fullscript with a 20% client discount.

  • In the first few months, we typically meet every 2–3 weeks to build momentum and fine-tune your care plan. After that, sessions are spaced out to every 1–3 months, depending on your progress and preferences.

These visits are designed to check in on your symptoms, track what’s improving, and adjust your treatment plan as needed, whether that means refining supplements, reviewing labs, or supporting your nervous system with new tools.

    Need something sooner?
We also offer a 15-minute Quick Check-In for brief support between standard sessions, perfect for a few focused questions or updates that just can’t wait.

    Investment:
    15 minutes: $100
    30 minutes: $200
    45 minutes: $300

  • An exclusive, high-touch concierge experience for individuals ready to optimize their mental health through root-cause healing and precision psychiatry.

Designed for those who are done with surface-level care. The Precision Reset combines functional labs, genetic insights, expert guidance, and personalized support to help you feel like yourself again: clear, calm, and grounded from the inside out.
