Holistic psychiatrists exist to provide a gentler, whole-body, natural approach to feeling better:

  • Instead of just treating symptoms, I use specific tests to identify the root causes of mental health issues and thus treat the whole body, not just your symptoms.

  • I may recommend trading in certain foods in your diet for others to help support your mental health from the inside out. 

  • This is all about making small changes (sleep, movement, light…) that will make sure you’re working with your mind and body, not against them.

  • Sometimes, the chemicals in your body (hormones) or the health of your digestive system (gut health) can be off balance and wreak more havoc on your mental health than you might think.

  • Supplements are like a natural boost to fill in the gaps in our nutrition or to support certain mental health conditions — much gentler than prescribed medications.
